leben
noura m. el-kordy (freiberufl. grafik- & webdesignerin) wurde in
budapest geboren, hat in deutschland und ägypten gelebt und ihre
zelte seit über
20 jahren in wien aufgeschlagen.
malerei
sie hat schon als kind begonnen zu malen, im verlaufe der jahre mit den verschiedensten materialien experimentiert, eine schulung in ölmalerei gemacht und unterricht bei namhaften künstlern genossen.
überwiegend öl und/oder acrylbilder vieler themenbereiche
seit 2006 hauptsächlich mythologie, grenzwissenschaften und altägyptische
kultur • eigenständige serie „mensch & sinne“ in
45 sets (bild & handschrifltiche lyrik) in pastellfarben – überwiegend verkauft.
kunst leben
nachdem noura mitglied einer künstlergruppe in zagreb war, eröffnete
sie 2001 ihr eigenes
atelier in wien 14 und gründete eine freie künstlergruppe,
die ihren fortbestand seit 2006 als verein sichert und mit fast
30 künstlern eine einzigartige und aktive konstellation über
die grenzen österreichs hinaus darstellt.
ausstellungen
seit 1995 hat die künstlerin ihre werke in über 50 ausstellungen (einzel-
und gemeinschaftsausstellungen) im in- und ausland gezeigt.
werke
nouras werke befinden sich zum großteil in privater (A, D, USA)
und einige in öffentlicher hand: u.a. BKH/reutte-tirol, museum aiud/rumänien,
qingdao arts & crafts city/china, 21c ICAA /korea.

deutsche künstlerplattform ernennt monatlich ein »bild des

ausgewählt wurde »endlos« aus der »trilogie leben« zum
bild des monats sept. 2001
• wiener einkaufsstraßen:
im zuge des projekts »kunstmeile« linzerstraße wurde
der künstlergruppe el-kordy im juni 2003 der 1. preis für die
gestaltung der »klimt-insel« und
der 2. preis für die »wasser-insel« verliehen.

about the artist
noura m. el-kordy – a freelance graphic-designer – has been
born in budapest, lived in germany as well as in egypt and is living for
more than 20 year in vienna now.
painting
she started painting in early years, practiced with different materials
through the years and improved oil
painting & technique through courses of namable artists.
beside the series „human and senses“ she paints
mainly with oil and acrylics catching a wide range of themes – since
2006 mainly in the fields of mysticism, mythology and ancient egypt. to
the point „human & senses“ consists of 45 pastells accompanied
by handwritten lyrics – most of them sold.
living art
after joining a group of artists in zagreb she opened her own studio in
vienna in 2001 and founded
the free artist
group el-kordy, which has turned into
the »society of the artist group el-kordy for the encouragement of
new, liberal artists« since 2006.
about 30 artists join this group and represent an unique collective beyond
all bounds.
exhbitions
since 1995 noura has shown her art in 50 austrian and international exhibitions
(solo- and
group-exhibitions).
